We’re looking for hair donations to natural hair for the wigs, financial support to cover the wig production costs, and volunteers to help us spread the word ahead of the event and to help during the event.

At least 12 inches of dry hair is required. It should be chemical-free hair that hasn’t been dyed or permed. Gray hair is ok too! Hair must be clean and dry. You can have your hair banded or braided.

Children in need from all over the US receive these wigs free of charge. The most common reasons a child would need a wig is because they are suffering from alopecia, cancer, trichotillomania, or burns.

Wigs For Kids commits to supporting each child for every year of their childhood hair loss journey, with a hairpiece, maintenance products, and support services.
